If the integrity of a company can be measured by its employee involvement in
the local community, then the team at Lee Company is an inspiring example of a
group that truly cares about the citizens of Nashville and Middle Tennessee.
From welcoming troops returning home from active duty to collecting cans for local food banks,
the employees of Lee Company believe in giving back to our community through
generous support of various programs and charitable organizations.
And when a disastrous flood hit Nashville in May 2010, we were especially there
to help our customers, both in their homes and at their
businesses.
At the recently opened Schermerhorn Symphony Hall in downtown Nashville, we
successfully completed the demolition and re-installation of state-of-the-art
mechanical systems that were submerged under 22 feet of water.
In September 2010, Lee Company joined Hardaway Construction and the cast of
ABC’s hit show Extreme Makeover: Home Edition to rebuild the Lighthouse
Christian School in Antioch. Lee Company donated the labor for the plumbing and
mechanical work for this school, which was re-built in just a few days.
Lee Company also coordinated two food drives in 2010 through our Vans 4 Cans
program for Second Harvest Food Bank. This collaborative effort from our Home
Services customers and our employees provided over 7500 pounds of food for
Second Harvest, their second largest food donation of 2010. Our service
professionals collected donations from customers and we transported the food in
our service vans to a collection site.
From the CEO to front-line technicians, in everyday generosity and major disaster relief, Lee Company is honored to serve the community that supports our locally owned and operated business.
