Bridging all areas of the company from residential to industrial is our staff of licensed engineers and designer/draftsmen who provide in-house engineering services for all Lee Company projects. The staff has a combined experience of over 125 years in the design of mechanical systems. Their experience includes commercial office buildings, commercial retail facilities, manufacturing plants, chemical and process plants, educational facilities, hospitals and outpatient medical facilities. Moreover, Lee Company maintains engineering licenses in over 30 states.

The Engineering Department utilizes computer aided drafting and design in the development of construction documents. This facilitates quick modification of documents and provides flexibility allowing Lee Company to affect necessary changes during the actual construction process.

Computer simulations of a building are created to determine heating and cooling loads so that equipment can be accurately sized. These are also utilized to determine energy consumption which, in conjunction with maintenance costs and other operational cost factors, allows Lee engineers to develop true life cycle costing for various systems. This level of detail provides owners with the necessary information to select the right system for their facilities.
