Q: Which equipment in my home should I have maintained annually?
A: All of the mechanical systems in your home should be maintained annually. This includes all heating, air conditioning, plumbing, electrical, and also the appliances in your home.
Q: Why should I have annual maintenance performed on my home?
A: Maintaining your homes mechanical systems can help provide a clean and more efficient operation and help prevent future problems from occurring.
Q: Which appliances should have routine maintenance?
A: Our basic appliance planned service agreement covers the maintenance of your home’s microwave, dishwasher, stove, refrigerator, washer, and dryer.
Q: How much does an agreement cost? What are my payment options?
A: The prices of the agreements are determined by the type of agreement you choose and how many heating and air conditioning systems you have in your home. The agreements start as low as $7.95/month. There are two payment options available when signing up for a planned service agreement. Customers can choose to make one payment in full for their agreement, or they may choose to have the price broken down monthly throughout the life of the contract. If the monthly payment option is chosen the payments will be auto-drafted from the customer’s bank account on either the 15th or the last business day of the month.
Q: Can I transfer my planned service agreement if I move?
A: Unfortunately, no. The planned service agreements are non transferrable. Each home is different and may require additional or fewer services.
Q: Besides maintenance what are the other advantages to having a Lee Company planned service agreement?
A: Discounts! Customers who sign up for a Lee Company planned service agreement receive discounts on all service calls, parts, and service labor. Twelve month agreement holders receive a 10% discount, thirty-six month agreement holders will receive a 15% discount, and sixty month agreement holders will receive a 20% discount on the aforementioned items. In addition all customers who have a planned service agreement will also receive a 5% discount on all bid installation parts, accessories, and labor.
Q: As a renter, should I schedule routine maintenance?
A: No. We have to speak with the homeowner to initiate any and all services. The owner of your home may call us and give approval for you to schedule the appointment.
Q: Is this a warranty?
A: No. This is a maintenance program to ensure your home is running efficient and to help prevent any future problems for occurring. It is not a warranty on your equipment. Should there be a problem however, you will receive a discount on the repairs just for being and agreement customer.
Q: Will Lee Company work with my home warranty company?
A: Although we do not work directly with home warranty companies, they do still require that annual maintenance is performed on the equipment for your warranty to remain valid. Each warranty company is different and has different requirements to keep your equipment under warranty. You will need to contact your warranty company for further details.
Q: Is there a fee for cancelling my planned service agreement?
A: There is a $50 fee per unit for cancelling and Lee Company Agreement. However, if you are moving outside of the coverage area this fee will be waived with new proof of residence.
