Jason grew up in a construction family and worked in the industry before and during college. He joined Lee Company in 2017 after serving as an executive at a health care company and as Assistant Attorney General at the Tennessee Attorney General’s Office. He is the first General Counsel in the company’s history.
As Vice President of Risk & General Counsel, Jason is responsible for the leadership, innovation, governance, and management necessary to identify, evaluate, and mitigate strategic risks in all areas of the business. Jason also oversees the corporate legal function, including matters related to disputes, regulatory affairs, labor and employment, and contracts. Additionally, Jason provides executive leadership of the company’s safety and real estate management teams, and oversees the company’s insurance and surety programs.
