Our annual golf tournament benefiting Special Olympics of Williamson County went off without a hitch this year, thanks to our tremendously supportive community. Special Olympics continues to be the leading voice for athletes with intellectual disabilities, and for seven years, we have proudly supported SOWC with this event. Our goal is to raise both money and awareness for the global non-profit.
“Lee Company’s annual golf tournament is so important to the success of the Williamson County program. After a year of being suspended due to COVID-19, our athletes are excited to get back on the fields and courts to train and compete with their friends,” says Area Director Misty Germek. “We are so thankful for this incredible support each year and for the work that goes into putting on this event to support our athletes.”

Back by popular demand
Hole #17 at the Governors Club in Brentwood was the most talked-about hole on the course. Eric Wilson, a returning athlete, was on hand to putt first for each team in the tournament. He even got a hole in one! Eric’s enthusiasm was contagious – he was on the course for hours, high-fiving, smiling, and sharing stories. If you’ve never had the opportunity to attend a Special Olympics event, we highly recommend checking one out!
