At BG’s Bowling Green facility, Lee Company replaced a 40-year-old water-cooled chiller with a modern, 300-ton Trane RTHD unit — without disrupting production. Faced with a narrow doorway and complex access limitations, our team disassembled and reassembled components on site to complete the install without structural changes. We coordinated crane lifts, managed electrical subcontractors, and oversaw startup and system balancing — all with zero safety incidents. Pre-piped contingency hookups and daily coordination kept operations steady. This project reaffirmed BG’s trust in Lee Company’s design-build expertise, customer-first approach, and long-term commitment to performance, setting the stage for future plantwide cooling solutions.
