Danny C.

Superintendent

Danny started at Lee Company as an apprentice helper and operator. He had the opportunity to learn pipefitting, plumbing, and plumbing install early in his career. While Danny served as a foreman for various projects, he has spent most of his tenure at Lee Company as a superintendent. You never know when leadership opportunities will come your way, so you need to be ready. Danny reflects that at one point, he was sent to a job, handed paperwork for the day, and told, “You’re now the superintendent!” And the rest was history.

Danny enjoys leadership because it gives him the opportunity to see people learn, and he values training others. The biggest job he’s ever led, and the one he’s most proud of, is the work we completed at Columbia State Community College. The work required a lot of manpower: Danny was in charge of about 60 people on that job alone! “We had to push through, and I was proud of the quality of work that came out of it.”

“Watch the guy who’s training you, so you can better benefit yourself. Listen and learn. The most important thing to remember is to provide quality work. That is the main thing, and that’s how you get repeat customers.”
