One routine maintenance visit became something much more for one of our home services consultants, Travis H.
After a customer did not answer the phone, Travis trusted his instincts and went to the home anyway. When he knocked, he heard someone call for him to come inside. There, he found an elderly man who had fallen from his wheelchair and had been unable to reach his phone for more than a day.
“He knew we were scheduled for maintenance and trusted that someone from Lee Company would eventually show up,” Travis said. “Knowing that simply showing up made that big of a difference is something I’m incredibly proud of.”
Travis called 911 and stayed until help arrived.
Stories like this emphasize why working at Lee Company is about more than handling equipment or completing projects. Every service call, job site, and customer interaction is an opportunity to solve problems, earn trust, and make a real difference in someone’s life.
More Than the Technical Skills

Working in the skilled trades takes technical expertise, but success here goes beyond knowing how to repair an HVAC system, install electrical equipment, or manage a construction project.
Our people become the best at their career because of the relationships they form.
Every day, our teams enter homes and businesses where people are counting on them. That means listening before reaching for a tool, asking thoughtful questions, and explaining solutions in a way customers can understand.
Those moments matter.
Whether restoring heat on a freezing night, responding to a plumbing emergency before a family gathering, or helping a business stay open, our teams bring more than technical knowledge. They bring confidence, professionalism, and most importantly, genuine care.
Those are skills that grow with experience and make our people successful throughout their careers.
A Team That Invests in You
The reward is often immediate: relief on a customer’s face when the air starts blowing, the water begins flowing, or the lights come back on.
Over time, those moments build lasting relationships. Customers request the same technician year after year. One generation recommends Lee Company to the next. Local business owners know who to call when a critical system threatens their operations and the livelihoods of their employees.
This relationship-driven approach also shapes how our people care for one another.
Thierry M., general superintendent in Special Projects, says “our team genuinely looks after each other, even helping one another at home.”
When people feel supported by their team, they are better equipped to extend that same care to every customer. Caring for people also goes beyond the work we do each day. Through Lee Company Cares, our teams have opportunities to serve the communities we call home.
Build a Career That Makes a Difference
Working at Lee Company means joining a team that values skill and the heart behind it.

As Senior Project Manager Scott F. puts it, “What you’ve got to do is take care of people, do your job, and your career will flourish.”
We also invest in our people and their futures. Field Operations Engineer, Haley Y., shared that Lee Company outlined a career plan for her before she even started. Every day, her teammates continue helping her grow to be as successful as possible.
That people-first commitment is supported by Lee Company’s leadership team and carried out by teams across the company.
A career in the trades is about more than fixing equipment or completing projects. It is a chance to solve problems, take care of people, and do work that matters.
