Lee Company Recognized with a National Construction Safety Excellence Award

We are honored to be recognized with a National Construction Safety Excellence Award – Specialty Division at the National AGC Annual Safety Awards Breakfast. We were awarded 1st place and were selected from 160 other applicants.

The purpose of the Construction Safety Excellence Awards (CSEA) is to recognize those construction companies who excel at safety performance. Candidates were evaluated on their commitment to safety, and occupational health management and risk control. Justin Bryant, our Safety and Health Manager, said: “Traveling to Grapevine, Texas, with Keith Harned, Director of Safety, and Justin Braden, Vice President of Construction, to present our case for the AGC Construction Safety Excellence Award was a neat experience. We prepared a five-minute presentation on what sets Lee Company’s safety program apart from our competition. We presented safety as one of our core values at Lee Company, as well as our employee and leadership engagement. Accountability and ownership of safety are important to our success. We also answered follow up questions from the judges to demonstrate our program is the real deal.”

“This award truly belongs to all Lee Company team members who work each and every day to identify and eliminate hazards that could lead to injury. Our daily prayer continues to be that all our team members arrive to, work through, and return home to their families safely every day,” Keith Harned, Director of Safety.

By treating safety as a core value and making it part of everything we do, we are all winners. A big congrats to all the award winners this year, and thank you to AGC for recognizing us with this award.
