A two-stage system can provide you with energy savings and comfort. Single-stage systems only run on high speed, regardless of the weather. A two-stage cooling system is capable of automatically switching between high and low speeds, depending on the weather demands. It will run on low much of the time, but as soon as the temperature becomes very hot, it will ramp up to the higher speed to ensure optimal comfort.
Because a two-stage air conditioner runs on high only when necessary, your system will use energy more efficiently while keeping you comfortable. The continual low-speed operation also helps to ensure that your home is effectively dehumidified; this means improved indoor air quality. Yet another benefit of two-stage cooling: It runs more quietly.
The first step to taking advantage of a two-stage cooling system is simple. Just call Lee Company and set up an appointment to get your questions answered and to evaluate your home's specific needs.
